Lock of the Week is the brainchild of three friends with a love of football, a good group chat, trash-talking, and wagering on sporting events. We all know the best part of a sporting event is right before kickoff — when you know what's going to happen.
Those guys in Vegas have this one all wrong and it's basically free money. That, my friends, is your Lock of the Week.
Unlike fantasy sports, you don't need to follow 12 games at once or root for ridiculous box score scenarios. Make your lock. Root for your lock. Beyond that, root against your competitors — or for them if the parlay is live (more on that below).
One of you will lose 9 in a row. It's inevitable and always hilarious.
Rule guidelines are provided, but commissioners are encouraged to run their league however their crew will enjoy most. We encourage fun, creative rules.
In the original league, a rules vote cannot be taken on land — all parties must be in a body of water, since the first rules summit was held on a boat. 🚤
